The infographic that sells the personal accident cover

When a product is technical, the advisor spends their time explaining it. With Vizalia, they show it. The example of an insurer that projects its infographics live to sell a Personal Accident cover.

Context

The starting point

Some products cannot be summed up. An insurance contract, a loan, an options package: their value is in the detail, and the detail does not listen well. Over the phone, information arrives single file. One sentence after another, at the advisor's pace. The customer saturates after three concepts and loses everything that follows. The Personal Accident cover (GAV) is a textbook case. A scope covering domestic, sport, leisure, assault, medical accident. Exclusions. An intervention threshold expressed as a permanent disability rate. A cap. Heads of damage. The advisor recites all of this correctly. After three minutes, the customer has switched off. They do not say no. They say “send me an email”. This insurer already had excellent infographics to explain its offer. They were used in after-sales. So after the decision. This client chose to remain anonymous and its results are covered by a confidentiality agreement.

The problem

What was getting in the way

  • A complex offer that does not land over the phone: the customer saturates after three concepts
  • “Send me an email” as a polite exit through lack of understanding
  • Infographics that already existed, but were used in after-sales — so after the decision
  • A duty of advice that is hard to make tangible over the phone
  • Explanation quality that depends on each advisor's talent
